Most religions and belief systems include angels as
part of their ideology, although they are most associated with
Christianity. Judaism and Islam both refer to the Archangels Michael and
Gabriel. Everyone has a Guardian Angel that protects them throughout life,
although it may not interfere in events that are destined to happen in that
person's life. Other angels may act as personal guides, or appear at certain
times to give messages. Contrary to popular belief, humans do not ascend to
become angels, angels are completely different beings.

Seraphim vibrate much higher than human, angels are the closest to human
energy, which is why they most often appear to humans and work closely with
them.
Archangels each fit into the above categories, though whatever the level they
easily work with humans. The most well known archangels include:
- Gabriel: " God is my
strength." Angel of Truth, chief of guards placed over paradise.

Directs healing energy. Color: Yellow. Scents: Rose, Jasmine

Prince of Strength and Courage. Defends the wrong and protects the weak. Color:

- Tzadkiel: "Angel of Justice" Color: Blue. Scents: bayberry,

- Tzaphkiel: " Contemplation of God". Prince of Spiritual Strife against Evil. Keeper of the
Akashic records. Color: Black. Scents: Myrrh, Chamomile
- Raziel/Ratziel: "Secret of God". Prince of The Knowledge of Hidden and Concealed
Things. Helps us see wisdom on all levels. Colors: Gray.
Scents: Eucalyptus, Musk, and Geranium
- Metatron: Considered the greatest of all angelic beings, as well as the
tallest. Color: White. Scents: frankincense, ambergris
- Sandalphon: "Approacher and Prince of
Prayer". Twin to
Metatron, often thought to be Elias (Elijah) the prophet whom God transmuted.
Colors: citrine, olivine, black. Scents: Lemon, Carnation, Sandalwood
