My name is Lisa Janine Cloud. ( You can call me either Lisa or Janine, I go by both.)  This site is just a small part of my quest to serve humanity to the best of my ability. For over a decade I have studied and practiced natural health, including herbs, iridology and energy work as well as such esoteric disciplines as numerological analysis and astrological study. In 2002 my goal of building a practice as a healing facilitator and intuitive medium gave birth to SpiritLight Healing first as a website and later as a philosophy of healing and growth. 

By nature I am a skeptic, and as I grew up in a fundamentalist Christian home many of the things I now know to be true seem to conflict with my early teachings. So while I may discuss reincarnation and past-life recall, a part of me has not yet fully reconciled the existence of past lives. As my mind and spirit expand, however, I am able to set aside any prejudices and simply experience life as it occurs and not be so concerned about what is "true" and what is not. 

My thirst for knowledge led me to explore the world of natural health extensively, and I felt as if I were remembering things I had learned before, but forgotten. The same holds true of the energy work; for whatever reason I am able to transfer energy easily, and have done so all my life. Most recently this skill led to the development of a method of energy transfer and activation which assists the subject in clearing his or her energy field and facilitating the flow of energy throughout the subject's entire being. 

In childhood, I had instances of precognition, usually in dreams. As a young child I would intuitively know that my grandmother would be visiting on a particular day. Growing up I tended to have friends with whom I shared telepathic bonds, and I often picked up on the emotions of others around me. Over  the years I have worked to develop and hone these natural abilities. 

I am a native Texan of Scots-Irish-Welsh and Cherokee descent (and probably a couple of other nationalities as well.) History in general and family history in particular fascinates me, as you can see from the genealogy page. Most of my ancestors' lives changed dramatically at one point or another as they followed their conscience and chose to relocate rather than be forced to act as if they believed something they didn't.  I only hope I can honor that spirit as I follow my path. 

For the last several years, Houston has been my home, along with the man who is my best friend, life partner and soulmate. I have a son from my previous marriage, a child who came into this world already grown, just waiting for his body to catch up to his spirit.  I look forward to the next phase of my life, working with people who choose to take charge of their lives and their health.
